BAKER VOLLEYBALL: Bulldogs swept by Parma

The Baker volleyball team was in Parma, Idaho, today for a nonleague match against the Panthers.

Parma led from the start and won the first set, 25-15.

The Panthers led throughout the second set as well. Baker rallied from a 21-11 deficit to get within 21-17 on Sofia Hanson’s serve, including two aces, but Parma closed out the set 25-18.

Baker rallies again in the third set, cutting a 12-6 lead to as few as three points on three occasions, but the Bulldogs can get no closer and lose the third and final set, 25-20.

Baker falls to 2-6 on the season.

Baker won the JV2 and JV matches.
