Baker, Powder Valley athletic teams earn state academic honors

The Baker/Powder Valley boys cross-country team has the highest cumulative grade-point average among Class 4A teams in the OSA OnPoint Community Credit Union Academic All-State competition.

Several other Baker and Powder Valley teams were ranked as well.

• Girls cross-country: Baker, 6th (Class 4A), 3.85

• Boys soccer: Baker/Powder Valley/Pine Eagle, 7th (Class 4A), 3.37

• Girls soccer: Baker/Powder Valley, 23rd (Class 4A), 3.39

• Volleyball: Baker, 9th (Class 4A), 3.70; Powder Valley, 5th (Class 1A), 3.78

• Football: Baker, 12th (Class 4A), 3.12; Powder Valley, 5th (Class 1A), 3.05
