MIDDLE SCHOOL CROSS-COUNTRY: Baker girls 3rd at Eastern Oregon Championship meet

PENDLETON — The Baker Middle School girls cross-country team placed third in the team standings at the Eastern Oregon Championships meet Friday, Oct. 25, at Pendleton.

It was the final meet of the season for Baker.

The Baker boys were divided into two teams, one competing in the champs event, the other in the super champs event.

The Baker girls had a single team competing in the super champs category.

All runners competed on a 3K (1.8-mile) course that included a water hole and hay bales to jump over.
