POWDER VALLEY SPORTS: Badgers top Elgin in football, volleyball

The Powder Valley football and volleyball teams both traveled to Elgin on Friday, Sept. 27, and both Badger teams came away with wins.

On the football field, Powder Valley romped 54-8 to improve to 3-1 on the season.

The Badgers will play host to Adrian on Friday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m.

In the volleyball match, Powder Valley dropped the first set, 25-19, then won three straight to take the match 25-22, 25-15, 25-10.

The Badgers, ranked fifth in Class 1A, improved to 15-4 on the season with three-set sweeps at Wallowa and Joseph on Saturday, Sept. 28.
