Baker City’s Dysan Robb 10th, 12th in two performances at National High School Finals Rodeo

Dysan Robb, a 2023 Baker High School graduate, has qualified for the national high school finals rodeo in July in Gillette, Wyoming.

GILLETTE, Wyoming — Baker City’s Dysan Robb, competing in the National High School Finals Rodeo for the second straight year, placed 10th in the first round of cutting on Wednesday morning, July 19.

Robb placed 12th in the second round on Wednesday evening.

He was tied for 31st for overall average as of Friday, July 21.

Brycen Martin of Hereford was tied for 26th after the first go-round in saddle bronc riding.

Robb, who graduated from Baker High School in June, placed 47th in the cutting event in the 2022 National High School Finals Rodeo.

He qualified by ranking second in cutting among Oregon competitors.
