Arrests, citations

STRANGULATION, ASSAULT IV (Domestic) and HARASSMENT and PROBATION VIOLATION (two Ada County, Idaho, warrants): Harold Irvin Wilkerson, 42, of Boise, 7:52 p.m. Thursday, in the 1400 block of Third Street; jailed.

HARASSMENT: Kris Gleave, 46, of Warm Springs, about 12:05 p.m. May 3, in the 700 block of Campbell Street; cited and released. Police Chief Wyn Lohner said Gleave used his elbows or his 360-pound body to shove into Thomas Hancock, 75, of Baker City, knocking Hancock to the ground.

In the 2500 block of Broadway Street, 4:36 p.m. Mitchelle Dean Segerdahl, 52, of Baker City reported that five adult pit bull dogs were taken from his van while it was parked on the street.

8:54 p.m. — At the Powder River Correctional Facility, 3600 13th St. Baker Fire Chief Mark John said firefighters responded to a report of a grease fire in the kitchen. John said the hood system over the stove contained the fire and no suppression effort was necessary. Firefighters used blowers to clear smoke from the kitchen.
