The Rachel Pregnancy Center is ready to launch the annual baby bottle fundraiser that runs from Mother’s Day to Father’s Day, May 11 to June 15.

Twenty churches will hand out baby bottle banks to be filled with change, cash and checks. This is the center’s only formal fundraiser.

The center, at 2192 Court Ave. in Baker City, provides pregnancy tests, maternity clothes, diapers, wipes, formula and baby clothes up to size 3T, as well as classes on pregnancy, labor and delivery, parenting, finance, life skills, and abortion recovery. All services are free.

“The generous support of our community allows us to serve those facing unplanned pregnancy and related challenges with material assistance, emotional and spiritual support,” said Jen Cikanek, center director.

She said businesses who want to partner on the fundraiser can call 541-523-5357. The center is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m.
