BAKER GIRLS GOLF: Bulldogs 2nd at La Grande Invitational

LA GRANDE — The Baker girls golf team, led by Lilly Wilson’s third-place finish, placed second to La Grande in a seven-team tournament Tuesday, April 22, at La Grande Country Club.
Wilson carded a round of 99.
Other Baker players were Brooklyn Rayl, who finished sixth with a round of 102, Ashlyn Dalton, 10th at 105, Jocelyn Bork, 12th with a 107, and Kyndal Chandler, 26th with a 131.
La Grande’s team score of 393 was 20 shots ahead of Baker.
Pendleton/Griswold was third, 24 shots behind Baker.
Other teams competing were Enterprise, Union/Cove/Imbler, Echo/Stanfield and Umatilla.
La Grande’s Natasha Lane was the medalist with a round of 85.
