PRAIRIE CITY — The Baker Middle School boys and girls track and field teams both placed third in a 17-team meet April 18 at Prairie City.

La Grande won the boys and girls team titles. Cove was second in the girls meet, and Adrian was second in the boys.

Powder Valley finished fifth in the girls standings.

Baker’s Bernardo Loza won the boys 800-meter race, and Isabella Moyes won both the girls 100 meters and 200-meter hurdles.
