Baker’s tennis team had mixed results in a league match against Pendleton on Thursday, April 3, at the Ash Grove courts near Baker High School.
On the boys side, Baker won the top two doubles matches. For girls, Baker won two singles matches and one doubles match.
“Pendleton consistently has strong players for boys singles, but our players did battle for games,” Baker coach Amy Younger said. “And the strong, gusty wind was another opponent on every court.”

Theo Pepera/Gabe Schwartz beat Ben Larsen and Caden Crowder, 6-4, 6-1
Orrin Anderson/Jarrin Bott lost to Lucas Banston and Will Larsen, 8-6

Liz Timm beat Adrienne Demianew, 6-0, 6-1
Abby Cunningham lost to Noemi Alvarez-Barroso, 6-4, 5-7, 6-4
