ONTARIO — The Baker tennis teams opened the season with a district match against Four Rivers at Ontario’s Beck Kiwanis Park on Thursday, March 20.
Baker swept the varsity girls matches, with Liz Timm, Abby Cunningham, Bel Cunningham and Maddy Sullivan winning singles matches, and the doubles team of Kaitlyn Schwin and Olivia Jacoby winning their match in three sets.
Gabe Schwartz and Weston Burton won boys singles matches, and Zayne Hills played to an 8-8 tie in a pro set.
