ACADEMIC ALL-STARS: Baker boys, girls basketball in top 10 for cumulative GPA

Baker’s boys and girls basketball teams were among the top 10 for highest cumulative grade-point average among Class 4A teams in the OSAA OnPoint Community Credit Union Academic All-State competition for winter sports.
The Powder Valley girls basketball team ranked third among Class 3A teams.
Several other Baker and Powder Valley teams were ranked as well.
• Boys basketball: Baker, 5th, 3.68; Powder Valley, 3.36 (22nd)
• Girls basketball: Baker, 9th, 3.78; Powder Valley, 3rd (Class 1A), 3.96
• Girls wrestling: Baker/Powder Valley, 3.13 (21st)
• Cheerleading: Baker, 3.36
