Baker City Airport ties all- time record at 109 degrees

- The heat wave that started July 5, 2024, has broken three daily temperature records at the Baker City Airport, and others are in jeopardy as the torrid weather is forecast to continue at least through July 21.
One of the few temperature records that weren’t set during July’s unprecedented heat wave in Baker City is in jeopardy today. As of 3 p.m. today the temperature has reached 109 at the Baker City Airport, tying the all-time record set on Aug. 10, 2018.
