So in your recent political cartoon President Biden gets a “no clue” label, but that lying, insurrection-loving, constitution-hating criminal and rapist Trump gets merely a “no filter” label?
You guys (yes, you who run the local fish wrappers that used to be newspapers) are such weak-minded suckers; totally in the tank for Trump. What colleges did you go to? I didn’t know Trump University (another Trump scam the courts had to shut down) provided journalism degrees.
If he was a winning candidate and a Big Red Vote Getting Machine, maybe I could understand it. But he’s a proven loser.
Despite all his cheating and all his lying, he’s led the Regressive Party to election losses time after time. His “steal the White House” goon squad looked particularly pathetic shooting themselves in the feet after the 2020 election loss.
Prior to that, Democrats had taken over the House of Representatives by 9.7 million votes, the largest midterm margin by any party.
In ’22, Trump chose candidate after candidate all across the nation (including football player Herschel Walker, who could barely speak intelligible English and didn’t even live in the state he was running to represent). As a result, the midterm “wave” all minority parties can normally expect to get against an opposing presidency, turned into a pathetic trickle.
Now, after GOP quitters (who can blame them in the midst of such party incompetence and a bend-the-knee mentality?) and a telltale smattering of special election wins by Democrats, the Repressive Party’s hold over the House is exactly one vote.
Where to stop rolling off Trump losses? A bipartisan bill to tackle immigration problems could be law by now, but Trump didn’t want to lose the border as a grievance issue. So he pulled strings on his congressional puppets and stopped it. Heaven forbid the Repulsive Party should actually legislate!
Trump lost a defamation suit. Then immediately defamed his rape victim again, costing himself another loss. And three-quarters of a billion dollars!
Trump is learning to have a filter, I think. He talks less and less about real issues. And more and more about how badly he’s being treated. Pitiful bastard.
Meanwhile, the economy (which experts forecasted to tank) chugs grandly along. Unemployment is down. Job growth is up. Manufacturing is back. The USA’s world leadership place is out front, where it belongs. Inflation is nagging, but consumer confidence (for themselves) is generally good, even if it is easily shaken in this post-pandemic age.
So, “no filter” is your assessment of Trump? I think you could have gone with “no integrity,” due to his incessant lying.
Or “no results,” due to his unfinished wall and crumbling infrastructure and feckless, blathering leadership during coronavirus.
Or “no values,” for his association with Jeffrey Epstein (who died behind bars under Trump’s watch, let’s not forget) and general philandering and paying porn stars for sex while his wife was giving birth.
Or “no morals,” for his cheating and stealing and raping.
Or “no winning,” for, well. … no winning!
