EUGENE — Baker’s boys 4×400-meter relay team set a school record at the Oregon Relays at Hayward Field on the University of Oregon campus Friday afternoon, April 19.

The team of Malaki Myer, Rasean Jones, Giacomo Rigueiro and Jaron Long finished the race in a time of 3:23.77.

They placed seventh in a field that included top relay teams from around the region.

Baker’s time broke the record of 3:25.85 set in 1999 by Erik Plaza, Josh Roundsville, Patrick Kelsey and Mike Woydziak.

A team from Wilson High School in Long Beach, California, won the race in 3:15.44.
