Washington woman killed in crash on I-84

A Washington woman died when the minivan she was driving near the right shoulder of Interstate 84 Friday afternoon, March 29, was hit from behind by a commercial truck.
Breanna M. Case, 39, of Quincy, Washington, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash near Milepost 332, about 28 miles southeast of Baker City.
According to a preliminary investigation from Oregon State Police, Case was driving “at a slow speed near the right shoulder” when her Dodge Grand Caravan was hit from behind by a commercial tractor and trailer driven by Zackary Scott Acree, 37, of Nampa, Idaho. Acree was not hurt, according to OSP.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
