The shocking lack of judgement exhibited by our “Mayor” — comparing gay folks to Nazis, a group of people who rounded up, tortured, and killed millions of innocents as well as patriotic Americans (including, it must be said, actual gay men and women) — is disgraceful and ignorant. If one chooses to be a small-minded bigot in one’s free time, well, it’s a free country. However, posting homophobic alt-right memes on Facebook to “own the libs” is not the conduct of a Mayor. If Matt Diaz has one iota of the piety he loudly proclaims, he would apologize and step down.

James 1:26: If a person thinks that he is religious but can’t control his tongue, he is fooling himself. That person’s religion is worthless.
