This is in response to New Directions Northwest’s planned mask burning ceremony on April 3, the day the state mandate for masks in health care facilities ends.

A terrible idea. I hope you reconsider this. It sends a terrible message to the youth in the community. You don’t agree with something, you burn it. Books, flags come to mind. It would be better to put them away for the next time.
