Grande Ronde Hospital makes “Most Wired” list again

LA GRANDE — Grande Ronde Hospital and Clinics for the fourth time made the list of “Most Wired” hospitals for its use of technology.

The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives awarded Grande Ronde Hospital with the recognition for its use of technology in creating a better patient experience, according to a press release from the hospital. Grande Ronde is one of two hospitals in Oregon to achieve this status.
Hospital President and Chief Executive Officer Jeremy Davis said in the press release the continued distinction of making CHIME’s list “illustrates our commitment to leverage technology to improve the health of the patients we are privileged to serve.”
The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives awarded GRH the Most Wired title in 2019 after implementing the “My Chart” system for patient communication and care. For 2020, CHIME focused on the use of technology in response to the pandemic.

The Most Wired program conducts a survey every year evaluating how hospitals use technology in patient care, including how the use of technology has improved the hospital’s operations. There were 30,135 organizations represented in the 2020 Most Wired program, including Grande Ronde Hospital and St. Charles Hospital System in Bend.
