Ramona ‘Mona’ K. Weber
La Grande 1942-2019
Ramona “Mona” Kay Weber, 77, of La Grande, died Sept. 2 at Grande Ronde Hospital. An open house celebration of Mona’s life will be held at 3 p.m. Sept. 10 at her residence. She will be buried next to her parents in Billings, Montana.
Known as Mona, she was born Feb. 26, 1942, in Turtle Lake, North Dakota, to Reinhold and Martha (Jose) Weber. She resided in Turtle Lake, Hebron and Casselton, North Dakota; Billings, Montana; and La Grande. Mona attended schools in Casselton and Billings and graduated in 1964 from Billings West High School.
Mona was briefly employed at Coburn School Supply in Billings, Montana, following high school graduation. She loved to travel and enjoyed doing large canvas stitchery. She also loved animals and little children. Mona was a member of the Montana Council on Developmental Disabilities from 1999 to 2006.
Surviving relatives include her sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Gary Martin of Ukiah and La Grande; sister-in-law, Candyce Weber of Missoula, Montana; nieces and nephews, Gerald Weber, Michael Weber, Amy Weber Chaffin, Laurel Martin Horton and Katie Serido; and three great-nieces and -nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Reinhold and Martha; brother, Ronald Weber; and niece, Kamela Weber.

Annie S. Richmond, 72, of La Grande, died Sept. 7 at a local care facility. An obituary is forthcoming. Loveland Funeral Chapel & Crematory will be handling the arrangements.
Linda Marie Omohundro Boydstun
1956-2019
Linda Marie Omohundro Boydstun passed away August 29, 2019 in Boise, Idaho with her husband and daughter by her side.Linda was born to Raymond Omohundro and Juanita Kirby Craig Omohundro November 11, 1956.
Linda grew up in La Grande and attended La Grande High School, graduating in 1974. In 1975 she married Bob Griffin. They had two children, Michelle and Shane Griffin. Bob and Linda divorced in 1980.
In 1983 she met the love of her life and married Arden Boydstun. When she married Arden she gained two more children, Holly and Jamie Boydstun, who she loved as her own. Arden and Linda were happily married until her passing.Linda worked beside her mom at the Chuckwagon and Mom’s Country Kitchen. She later worked at Rolly’s Tavern. She also worked at the Snake River Correctional Institution as the head cook. Later she was the AFLAC administrative assistant and bookkeeper at Nature’s Pantry.
Linda enjoyed shopping, gardening, camping, boating, riding horses, and most of all spending time with her family. She loved the yearly river trips with her children and later adding the grandchildren. She also went to many horse shows with her mom and brother. During her years of riding Peruvian horses she won many ribbons in showmanship. She also enjoyed going to see her sister and spending time with her.
Linda is survived by her husband Arden Boydstun of La Grande; her daughter Michelle Griffin (Shane McIntosh) of La Grande; Jamie Boydstun, La Grande; and Holly Sanchez of Colorado Springs. Her father Raymond Omohundro, Summerville, and sister Gail Miller (Bruce) of Spokane, WA. Her nine grandchildren:Ezra and Josie McIntosh Kaela, Samantha and Aaron Griffin Katelyn, Jaden and Riely Boydstun Liam Sanchez
Linda was preceded in death by her son Shane Griffin, mother Juanita Omohundro, brother Lynn Omohundro, and her grandmother Ada Craig.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
