Michael Berryman: 31, of Baker City, died June 30, 2019. A celebration of his life will take place Monday, July 15 at noon at the Baker City Airport. A graveside service will take place July 15, time and location to be announced soon. Michael Edward Moeller: 64, of Island City, died June 22, 2019, at Draper, Utah, with his family by his side. The Rosary will be said Thursday, Aug. 8 at 6 p.m. at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, and Mass of Christian burial will be Friday, Aug. 9 at 10 a.m. at the church. A celebration of his life will follow at the Country Club Golf Course. A full obituary will be published later. Loveland Funeral Chapel & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Accident report

On Highway 86 near Halfway, 1:47 p.m. Thursday, Shelly Lupfer-Thomas, 49, of 20673 Prowell Lane Road, was injured when she crashed her 2003 Yamaha motorcycle. She was transported by Halfway ambulance to St. Alphonsus Medical Center. She was wearing a helmet and was not seriously injured, according to the Sheriff’s Office report.
