Bulldogs explode in 2nd to top Ontario

Baker broke open a close game Friday and went on to defeat Ontario 62-44 in a Greater Oregon League boys basketball game at Ontario.
Baker (2-0 in the GOL and 13- overall) led the Tigers 30-28 at halftime.
Baker then outscored Ontario 20-2 in the third quarter, and ran off 21 straight points to lead 53-30 early in the fourth quarter.
Kaden Sand scored nine of his game-high 20 points in the third period.
Gabe Gambleton added 11 points, and Caden Long 10 for the Bulldogs.
Baker hosts Pendleton in a nonleague game Tuesday before hosting La Grande in a GOL contest Friday.
