HOMEDALE, Idaho — Baker’s Cayn Osborn scored a season-high 31 points, including 9 during a fourth-quarter rally as the Bulldogs beat Homedale, Idaho, 68-60 on Tuesday.

Baker didn’t take its first lead until the fourth quarter. The Bulldogs outscored Homedale 23-13 in the final period.

“We stayed within reach,” Baker coach Brent Gyllenberg said.

The Bulldogs trailed 15-11 after one quarter, 31-28 at halftime and 47-45 after three quarters.

But a balanced offense in the final 8 minutes, led by Osborn, carried Baker (3-5) to the non-league win.

Gabe Gambleton scored 5 of his 12 points in the final quarter, Kaden Sand had 4 of his 11 and Riley Flanagan had 4 of his 6 points during Baker’s decisive rally.

Baker made 7 of 11 free throws in the fourth quarter.

“Osborn filled up the stat sheet, taking what was available,” Gyllenberg said. “Gambleton and Sand moved the ball well and chipped in. It was a good team effort.”

Baker travels to Burns on Saturday for a 4 p.m. game.
