Betty Brown: 93, of Haines died Dec. 3, 2017, at her home. Plans for her memorial service will be announced later. Coles Tribute Center is in charge of arrangements.

Edith Louise Scott: 109, of La Grande, died Dec. 1, 2017, at a local care facility. Loveland Funeral Chapel & Crematory will be handling the arrangements.

Ryan Sullivan: A celebration of his life will be Saturday, Dec. 9, at 1 p.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene,1250 Hughes Lane. A reception will follow at the church’s Family Life Center. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ryan Sullivan Memorial Fund through Gray’s West & Co. Pioneer Chapel,1500 Dewey Ave., Baker City, OR 97814 or through Banner Bank.
