DRIVING WITHOUT A LICENSE: George Patrick Wesley, 43, of 2010 Grove St., 9:51 p.m. Thursday, in the 1500 block of Campbell Street; cited and released.

VIOLATION OF RELEASE AGREEMENT (Baker County Circuit Court warrant): Kyle Allen Harp, 26, of Huntington, 11:49 p.m. Thursday, at Huntington; jailed and later released.

Accident reports

A crash involving hazardous materials on Interstate 84 near Meacham closed Interstate 84 in both directions this morning. The eastbound freeway was closed six miles east of Pendleton. The westbound freeway eventually was closed at Ontario after truck parking filled up in Baker City and La Grande. Eastbound lanes remained open between Baker City and Ontario. No other details were available in time for this report.
