The young Baker football team saved its best for last Friday at Bulldog Memorial Stadium.
The Bulldogs (3-6 overall) shut out Madras 30-0 in a nonleague game to end the season.
“We did a lot of really good things,” said Baker coach Dave Johnson.
“I’m really happy for the kids. The young kids have given a great effort all season, and our seniors got to go out with a quality win. It was a great finale.”
Baker, wearing throwback uniforms from 2002, took its opening drive 90 yards for its first touchdown.
Jackson Cutler, who finished the evening with 32 carries for 186 yards and two touchdowns, did the honors from 20 yards out.
