East tops West 29-23 in thrilling Shrine Game

The East team took the lead for good with 2 minutes left and held on for a 29-23 win over the West squad in a thrilling back-and-forth East-West Shrine All-Star Football Game Friday night at Baker Bulldog Memorial Stadium.

The East scored the game-winning touchdown on a pass from Harrisburg’s Tel Jones to Cascade Christian’s Carson Cochran. It was the fifth lead change in the second half.

The West led 13-0 at halftime, but the East quickly took a 14-13 lead in the third quarter. From there the teams traded leads into the fourth quarter.
