VIOLATION OF RELEASE AGREEMENT (Baker County Circuit Court warrant): Chuck Wayne Briney, 24, of Baker City, 7:48 a.m. Monday, in the 1100 block of Elm Street; jailed.

MAIL THEFT/RECEIPT OF STOLEN MAIL: Rose Marie Falk, 34, of Jacksonville, 9:10 a.m. Wednesday, at Second Street and Washington Avenue; jailed and later released; police said Falk was accused of taking mail from two separate addresses in the 2000 block of Court Avenue; officers also arrested Falk at the jail on a Jackson County warrant charging her with unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle.

FAILURE TO APPEAR (Out-of-County warrant): Rose Marie Falk, 34, of Jacksonville, 2:46 p.m. Thursday, at the Baker County Jail where she had been held on other charges before being released.

CONTEMPT OF COURT (Baker Justice Court warrant): Timothy Gregg Lovell, 52, of Canyon City, 6:31 p.m. Wednesday, in the 2400 block of Baker Street; cited and released.

HARASSMENT (Baker County Circuit Court warrant): David Lee Russell, 26,of 1560 Indiana Ave., No. 106, 12:23 p.m. Tuesday, at his home; cited and released.

THEFT III: Ricky Lee Carter, 32, of 1525 Fifth St., 8:41 p.m. Tuesday, at the Sheriff’s Office; cited and released.

HIT AND RUN and DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF INTOXICANTS: Brian Gerrold Simpson, 55, of Halfway, 4:33 p.m. Tuesday, on the Cornucopia Highway; jailed and later released.
