Crews working on 2,000-acre fire along Brownlee Reservoir

Crews are working on a 2,000-acre fire along the Snake River Road on Brownlee Reservoir about 5 miles north of the Spring Recreation Site and four miles south of Morgan Creek. The fire, of unknown origin, was reported about 2:30 p.m., according to the BLM’s Vale District. There are 10 engines working on the fire, along with one helicopter, and two more helicopters have been ordered.
