Accident reports

On Interstate 84, about 15 miles north of Baker City, 8:35 a.m. May 13; police said a 1988 Honda Accord driven by Jeremy John Streeter, 27, of Silverton, Idaho, was traveling east when it crashed into the rear of a truck and semitrailer driven by Rosalino Pino, 47, of Rio Rico, Arizona. Police said Streeter’s car then crossed the median, crossed the westbound lanes and went through the westbound ditch. The car took out a wire fence and came to rest right side up in a field. Streeter and his passenger, Janet Lee Hampton, 39, of Osburn, Idaho, were transported to St. Alphonsus Medical Center with injuries, police said. Pino was not injured. Streeter was cited on charges of careless driving and driving uninsured. He and Osburn both were cited on charges of no seat belts.
