Baker placed first in the Baker Boys Golf Invitationnal tournament Monday at Quail Ridge Golf Course.

The Bulldogs shot an overall team score of 360.

Cayn Osborn was third in the individual standings with a score of 83.

Other Baker scores were Rylee Gassin 90, Shaun Lepley 88, Zane Mahoney 99 and Drew Story 100.

Baker junior varsity scores were Gage Hiatt 81, Tabor Baldwin 99, Austin Rasmussen 113, Morgan Scilacci 117 and Brandon Myers 151.

Baker also placed first at the Buffalo Peak Invitational Friday at Union.

The Bulldogs shot a team score of 328.

Baker coach Mike Long said the score was the lowest, or near the lowest, the Bulldogs have shot while he has been coaching.

Gassin led the way with a round of 75. Lepley and Osborn both carded 84s, Osborn Story 85 and Mahoney 101.
