Young scientists displayed what they’ve learned through research and experimentation Wednesday night during the annual Baker Middle School Science Fair.

Students worked earlier this week to complete their projects for the “Inventions and Scientific Inquiry” event.

The Science Fair was sponsored this year by Natural Structures, which provided cash prizes for the winners and also contributed materials for the students to use in building their projects.

Students could choose to enter a scientific inquiry project or an original invention, teacher Nicole Sullivan stated in an email to the Herald.

The $200 first-place prize went to Hayden Paulsen and Jocelynn Hellberg, whose scientific inquiry was based on mascara marketing.
