The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is proposing to use a fish poison to remove trash fish from Balm Creek Reservoir in northern Baker County, making it possible to restore the reservoir’s trout fishery.
The agency has scheduled a public meeting for May 4 at 5:30 p.m. at the Baker County Library, 2400 Resort St. in Baker City, to discuss the proposal.
