Nicole Rochelle Brown and Gordon Wayne Wickert of La Grande have announced their engagement and approaching wedding.

A 2000 graduate of Union-Baker ESD, the bride-to-be is a student at EOU and a homemaker. She is the daughter of Wendi Brown of La Grande and James Thomas and Pauline Baccod of Eugene.

The prospective groom is a 2004 graduate of Union-Baker ESD. He works as a cook at Denny’s and is the son of Sherry and Steve Wickert of The Dalles.

The wedding is planned for July 20 in La Grande. The couple will make their home in La Grande.
