IN UNIFORM: Mabry Anders, John S. Saxby-Gwynup

Mabry Anders, the son of Troy and Genny Woydziak, has graduated from the U.S. Army training center at Fort Jackson, S.C.
Mabry has completed both his initial basic training and his military occupation specialties (MOS) of 91B, wheeled vehicle mechanic, at Fort Jackson. He has been assigned to the 102 Infantry Division “Ozarks” and will serve the next 18 months at Camp Casey, South Korea.
Army Pvt. John S. Saxby-Gwynup has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, the military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises.
Saxby-Gwynup is the cousin of Sarah Pelcha of Baker City.
