Sarah Harris, a 2008 Baker High School graduate and class salutatorian, is one of 100 students chosen to live and work on the campus of Occidental College in Los Angles this summer pursuing independent research projects, according to a press release.

Harris is the daughter of the Rev. Mel and Jacki Harris of Baker City. She will be working with Professor Michael Hill in the chemistry department for the summer.
