One-Act Festival continues in Baker City

The One-Act Festival in Baker City continues this weekend with three

performances – 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday.

All shows are in the Iron Gate Theater, inside Basche-Sage Place at the corner of Main and Broadway streets.

Tickets are $10 at Betty’s Books and at the door (it’s recommended to get there 15 minutes before the show). All performances also have a “student rush” five minutes before the curtain call – any student in middle school, high school or college can purchase a $5 ticket with a valid ID card.

The featured plays are:

andbull; “Postcards from Sicily” – A married couple write home about a crazy vacation in Italy.

andbull; “Save Me a Place at Forest Lawn” – Two friends, older women, discuss life in a lively conversation that soon turns to burial plans.

andbull; “The Diaries of Adam and Eve” – The story of Adam and Eve, told through journal entries. The audience hears the experiences from both perspectives.
