Easter services scheduled

Easter Sunrise Service
The annual community Easter Sunrise Service will be from 6:30 p.m.
to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 4, at the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center.
(Dress warm.) This is sponsored by the Baker County Ministerial
Association.
The gate entrance opens by 6 a.m.
Pastor Monte Loyd of Harvest Church will give the welcome, and
Pastor Garth Johnson of Agape Christian Center will give a scripture
reading and invocation.
Pastor Monte Loyd and team lead praise and worship.
The message will be give by the Rev. Al Fry of First Presbyterian
Church on Luke 24 Resurrection Story: “Why I believe in the
Resurrection.”
The offering will go to the Ministerial Association’s emergency fund (Pastor Roger Scovil of the Baker City Christian Church).
The Rev Juanita Bergacker, United Methodist Church, will deliver the benediction.
Blue Mountain Baptist Church
Easter Sunrise Service
Blue Mountain Baptist Church will have an Easter sunrise service beginning at 5:45 a.m. at 18963 West Campbell Loop. Includes an Easter service, free breakfast, free coffee and a bonfire to keep warm.

Easter Sunrise Service at Anthony Lakes Mountain Resort
Anthony Lakes will hold an Easter Sunday service at the top of the ski area around 7:30 a.m. on Sunday. The ski lift will start running at 7 a.m. to take individuals up to the top.
The Easter service will focus on the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Bill Walter will lead the service, and music will be provided by Bert Vanderwall.
Everyone is invited.
Anthony Lakes will provide transportation to the top of the mountain and back down for those who choose not to ski or snowboard down).
An Easter Egg Hunt will happen on the Bunny Hill at noon.

andbull; April 4 – Resurrection Sunday. A fundraising teen breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. This donation-only breakfast is to help the teen group go to Canada this summer on a Teen Mission Trip.
Sunday School for all ages will be held at 9 a.m. and a combined resurrection celebration will be held in the sanctuary at 10:15 a.m.
McEwen Bible Fellowship
McEwen Bible Fellowship will have a Sunrise Service at 7:30 a.m. on April 4. This outdoor service will be at Wade and Shelly Christensen’s, 26 miles from Baker City on Highway 7 at milepost 26.
There will be a potluck breakfast after the service back at the McEwen church. Everyone is invited. For information, call 541-894-2304.
