Ellen Trindle and Anthony Owens have announced their engagement, and plan to be married March 20, 2010, near their home in Queen Creek, Ariz.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Tom and Meredith Trindle of Downey, Idaho. She is a graduate of Elko High School and earned a degree in science from Great Basin College. She works in financial services in Mesa, Ariz.

The groom is the son of Donna Heinzig of Shawnee, Okla., and Troy Owens of Chatsworth, Ga. He is a graduate of Spring Creek High School and also attended Great Basin College. He is working as an underground copper miner in Superior, Ariz.
