Robert and Laurel Goodrich celebrated 40 years of marriage on Jan. 31, 2010.

They were married on Jan. 31, 1970, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sunnyside, Wash., and they honeymooned in Hawaii.

Their 40 years together have taken them to Biloxi, Miss., Rapid City, S.D., and Yakima and Walla Walla, Wash., before finally settling in Baker City to raise their family.

They have three sons – Nathan, Daniel and Benjamin – and five grandchildren. Currently, when they can find free time from their two businesses, they enjoy traveling the Northwest, as well as some special family trips to Canada and Mexico.

The Goodriches celebrated their 40th anniversary with their entire family at Wallowa Lake.
