Private Justin Ryan Robinson, 19, of North Powder, graduated from U.S. Marine Corps boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) San Diego on Nov. 4.

Robinson successfully completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training at MCRD San Diego and was one of 75 recruits in 1st Battalion, Alpha Company Platoon 1014. While in basic training Robinson was awarded the sharpshooter badge for marksmanship.

After 10 days home on leave, he will do 14 days of recruiter’s assistance in Ontario. Next he will report to Camp Pendleton in California for two months at Infantry Training Battalion and then Military Occupation Specialty School.

He is the son of Kelly and Rusty Aldrich of North Powder.
