Jim and Peggy Galyen were married on Oct. 3, 1959, and the couple will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a gathering on Oct. 4.

Friends and family are welcome to the gathering, planned for 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Crossroads Carnegie Art Center, 2020 Auburn Ave. in Baker City.
