Kathryn Gallagher and Patrick Taylor, both of Roseville, Calif., have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Terry and Connie Gallagher of Turks and Caicos Islands. She is a 2002 graduate of Wilson High School in Portland, and received a degree in journalism with a minor in communications studies from the University of Oregon. She is working on her master’s in elementary education, and is a teaching assistant at a private school in Sacramento.

Taylor is the son of Rick and Kathy Taylor of Baker City. He is a 2001 graduate of Baker High School, and graduated in 2006 from the University of Oregon with a degree in business administration and a minor in economics. He is currently a property manager with CTL Management.

The couple plan to be married June 18, 2010, in Cornelius.
