Krischele Hampton and Robert Whitnah are engaged and planning a July 2009 wedding at the Geiser Grand Hotel.

Judge Gregory Baxter will officiate. The couple will honeymoon at Glacier National Park.

The bride is the daughter of Theron and Dorothy Hampton of Richland. She is a graduate of Pine-Eagle High School and the University of Oregon School of Law.

Whitnah is the son of Dr. Warren Whitnah of Richland and Diane Carlisle of Baker City. He is a graduate of Baker High School and the University of Oregon School of Law.

Both are attorneys in Baker City – Whitnah and Hampton Law – and will continue to work and live here.
