Desteni Rose Dethloff and Jesse William Felton were engaged Feb. 14, and are planning a wedding May 9, 2009.

The ceremony will be at 3:30 p.m. at Phillips Park. Bruce Smith will officiate, and a reception will follow at the park.

The couple will honeymoon in Seaside on the Oregon Coast.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bill and Deborah Brown of Rupert, Idaho. Felton is the son of Rick and Sara Felton of Sumpter.
