Keri Minty and Steven Connor will be married June 21, 2008, at 6 p.m. in Port Orchard, Wash. The garden wedding will be at the home of the bride’s parents.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Gordon and Kate Minty of Port Orchard. She is a graduate of Clover Park Community College and is a licensed aesthetician.

Connor is the son of Sam and Kim Carpenter of Baker City, and a 2000 Baker High School graduate.

The couple met while Connor was stationed at Bremerton, Wash., with the U.S. Navy.

Karly Price, the bride’s longtime friend, will serve as the maid of honor. Sam Carpenter Jr., the groom’s brother, will be the best man.

The couple will take a honeymoon trip to Scottsdale, Ariz. This summer they will move to the Phoenix area where Connor will be attending MMI Institute.
