Heidi Bragg and John Quintela have announced their engagement, and plan to wed July 5, 2008, at Phillips Park near Baker City.

The bride-to-be grew up in Jerome, Idaho, and is the daughter of Jeff and Sandy Bragg.

She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Idaho at Moscow in 2007 and is employed at Wells Fargo.

The groom-to-be was born and raised at Carlsbad, N.M., and is the son of Henry and Cecile Quintela.

He graduated from the University of Idaho with a master’s degree in 2004, and is employed as a fisheries biologist with the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest.

The couple will reside in Baker City with their son, Diego.
