The official opening of the Integrated Services Building at 1607 Gekeler Lane will be celebrated with an open house for the public from noon to 3 p.m. Dec. 6.

The 27,000-square-foot building represents a partnership between Eastern Oregon University and the state Department of Human Services.

It will serve Self Sufficiency, Child Welfare, the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, Seniors and People with Disabilities, the Small Business Development Center, Blue Mountain Community College offices and classrooms for continuing education and weekend college programs through EOU.
