Don Severin of Cove has been appointed an agent for the National Health Insurance Co, which is based in Grand Prairie, Texas. While the company has been selling insurance in Oregon for a long time, this is the first time it has had an agent in Eastern Oregon, Severin said.

The company has been in business since 1923 and has been offering health insurance for 34 years, he said.

Besides major medical, the company offers dental and cancer insurance.
